New ISAN Guidance Documents Available Now back to listing
This is a new series launched in 2014, designed to address and give guidance on current issues as these arise and meet broader sector development needs.
Compiled by experts in the field, our first two Guidance Documents are an essential point of reference for anyone involved in planning and producing an outdoor arts event. These Guidance Documents are intended to complement our existing event production publications.
Available ISAN Guidance Documents:
• Police Charging for Services at Events: Guide to Understanding and Managing the Process of Police Charging (nos1): is intended to help event organisers understand the basis for and how charges are calculated by police in delivering police services for events. It gives practical information, advice and tips suggestions how to work with the police and minimise the cost.
• Guidance on the Use of Cranes for Performances (nos 2): is intended to advise on and help event organisers understand how these ‘additional requirements’ may be fulfilled.
